A lovely assuit shawl from the 1920s. It is made from a cotton netting and the metal designs are added by hand by bending silver around the fabric. It shimmers and looks like liquid metal. It's a wonderful fabric made in Egypt. This design has figures and some ferns. The fabric is a warm white or beige. The shawl is in excellent condition for it's age, showing a few stains but no major damage.
