A vintage silk velvet jacket which wraps and hooks at the waist with a hook and eye. It has a ruffled collar and rushed sleeves. There is no full lining, just a facing as shown, which appears to have been added and the original lining was probably removed. The style and quality of the jacket is like that of the 30s or 40s with fine detail on the sleeves and waist. There are hooks at the cuffs as well. Apart from the lining, it is in great condition. It can also be worn as a blouse, just add a hook or snap.
