A fantastic red velvet gown from the 1960s. It has a large hood which is lined with ivory satin. It buttons up the front with covered buttons. It has an a-line silhouette with bust darts and the sleeves have decorative buttons. The velvet is soft but heavy and most likely made of rayon. There are no labels in the dress but it fits like a medium. It is in excellent condition with some minor details to note. There is a light scuff on the fabric of the satin lining, the loops that button up the front are made of elastic and the top 2 loops are a bit stretched out.
